PNG Field Mining Services (PNGFMS) is currently seeking a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to work on underground equipment at a Gold Mine in the highlands of Papua New Guinea. You will be working a 21 day on 14 day off roster, day shift only.

Your Skills and Experience:

To be considered for the role, you must have the following:

• A minimum of 5 years mine site experience (post trade certification)
• Underground machinery experience
• CAT R2900G Loader and CAT AD45/55/60 Truck experience essential
• Expat experience highly desirable
• Can work in an often-challenging environment
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a multinational team environment
• Understand cultural respect and awareness
• Willingness to mentor the national workforce to assist with further developing their skills

Successful applicants must:

• Hold a current Passport (with at least 12 months validity)
• Be able to pass a medical examination and Australian Federal Police Clearance prior to engagement
